Nestled in the Caribbean Sea is the island nation of St. Kitts, a beautiful place with a volcanic landscape, dense rainforests, and pretty beaches. Also in St. Kitts is a historic site called Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, which UNESCO declared a World Heritage Site. For a spectacular view, head up to Timothy Hill Overlook to see where the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea meet, my favorite spot in St. Kitts.
The Caribbean island of St. Maarten is home to the lively tourist town of Phillipsburg, where many restaurants and shops are available for visitors. This tourist town is often the hub of attention. On the Dutch side of the island is a very unique beach called Maho Beach. The most fascinating thing about this beach is its proximity to Princess Juliana International Airport. The planes often land very close to the beach. offering a truly unique experience not available in most places.
Visit the largest of the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Croix, which is an excellent destination for history buffs. Here you’ll find many old colonial forts and historical sites. St. Croix is an amazing place to visit because the natural surroundings are beautiful. Visitors to St. Croix won't be bored, as it provides numerous activities you won't want to miss. Buck Island Reef National Monument has perfect crystal blue water for swimming, snorkeling, or scuba diving.
Falmouth, Jamaica: When we visit Jamaica, we never leave the ship. However, the port area offers good shopping options, and I'm sure there are many great dining options as well. If you do not want to venture out on your own, you can look into excursions offered by the cruise line, which I highly recommend over going out on your own.
