Leaving Japan: Next Stop – Seward, Alaska
We departed Japan on the evening of April 19th and are set to arrive at our first Alaskan destination, the charming port of Seward, on the morning of April 26th. Located about 125 miles south of Anchorage, Seward serves as a gateway to Alaska’s beautiful, natural wonders, while being near the state’s largest city. As this is our first time visiting Alaska, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and eager anticipation.
Seward is celebrated for its captivating history and stunning natural beauty, serving as the gateway to the iconic Kenai Fjords National Park. Within this extraordinary destination, visitors can immerse themselves in awe-inspiring experiences: towering glaciers, dramatic fjords, and a thriving array of wildlife. Whether it's playful sea otters, colorful puffins, or the majestic presence of humpback whales, the park provides a once-in-a-lifetime chance to witness Alaska's most breathtaking wonders up close.
